Mrs. Counihan is originally from Nashville, Tennessee where she received her early dance and theatre training. Growing up, she participated in various community theatre productions. Upon graduation, Mrs. Counihan attended Oklahoma City University. While in college, she spent her summers as a performer on King’s Island in Cincinatti, Ohio.

Mrs. Counihan is also the fourth grade classroom assistant at St. Ann Catholic School. She is mom to her two daughters Lily & Audrey who also attend FDC. She is extremely happy to have the opportunity to work with young children who are interested in Musical Theatre. This is her second season at Florida Dance Conservatory.
